Loreal Infallible Pro-Matte 24hr foundation 101 classic ivory, review and swatches!

Hey guys, it's been a few days since my last post, but I'm finally finding motivation to get this up lol. Today's review is for Loreal's Pro-Matte 24hr foundation in the color 101 classic ivory. The first thing I'll say about this product is that it does what it says it will. It lasts all dang day, solid coverage and wear with this foundation! Definitely a thumbs up from me! It goes on very smooth and creamy but dries quick to a powdery finish. It doesn't crease into my fine lines and is full coverage. It retails right around $12 which is a little pricey but I think it's worth it because this is one of the best foundations I've ever used. It matches my natural skin tone perfectly and just holds up so well throughout the day.

Basically this foundation gets an A+ from me, and if you're looking for a foundation great for pale skin that will last you all day looking as great as the minute you first applied it then go out and grab it at the nearest store! (I suggest walmart since everything is usually cheaper there!) But that's all for this post, and be sure to leave a comment if you'd like me to review anything for you!

Maybelline Master Conceal Concealer in Fair

I'll try to keep this review short and simple today (try being the key word.) This concealer is one of my favorites! Maybelline always seems to do a great job with their concealers in fact. Well everyone except the dream lumi concealer which oxidizes far to much for my pale skin and leaves me with orange blotches everywhere :( it's safe to say I hate that one. But this master conceal works wonders with my fair skin! Even though it's not a perfect match since it has a slightly warm toned yellow tint, it doesn't seem to matter much once it's blended out. This concealer has great coverage which I need desperately for my dark purple hollowed eye bags. Yes they're that bad and I know I'm not the only one with this problem.

 This product gives me that nice lively wide awake appearance that I want and it lasts a long time when set with a nice translucent powder. I can't really say anything bad about this product since it's probably one of the best I've ever tried and that's saying a lot considering I'm a concealer junkie always on the hunt for something new to hide my tired looking under eyes from hell haha. But honestly this is worth a try in my opinion, hopefully you'll love it as much as I do!

Zennioptical glasses! (Pics/Review)

Heyyyy guys! Today's review is on a website called ZenniOptical. I was looking online for some affordable glasses because my eyesight isn't as good as I'd like it to be *sad face* but luckily I didn't have to drop hundreds of dollars at the eye doctors office to get a cute pair of glasses! ZenniOptical has a HUGE selection of glasses for men, women, and children with claims of prices starting as low as $6.95! Yes you read that right, and yes it's amazing. I was almost overwhelmed how many options they had. After a long (long) time of scouring and trying to find out which pair to get out of the many favorites I had at the time, I finally decided upon this pair of glasses. The "Blue Artistic-Looking Wayfarer Eyeglasses."  The price for these was amazing, just $9.95! A huge difference from the hundreds I've used to pay for glasses at my local eye doctors office. I was in shock. I ended up getting the anti reflective coating for an extra $5 or so if I'm remembering correctly and combined with shipping it all came up to $19.95!

Shipping was relatively quick. After I confirmed my order, my glasses got to me in about 5 days. So bonus points for that! In the picture above you can see they send your glasses along with a case, and a PD measure because you need to know your pupillary distance to get the correct lens for yourself! It's pretty easy to figure out and there's instructions on the website telling you how to find your own PD. They also included a cleansing cloth to keep your lens smudge free. Which was nice and came in handy for me a couple of times. 

After wearing them for awhile I noticed they seem very durable even for the low cost. They don't feel cheap and they don't look it in my personal opinion. They're really nice! The only downside I can mention for this particular pair is that after awhile (5 hours maybe) they can get really irritating on the back of your ears, they fit snug to my face and it can be a little rough on my poor little ears, but nothing to unbearable. I really like the color, I thought it was cute and quirky! The website even has a feature that allows you to upload a picture of your face and compare frames to see what you like best. It's not as good as seeing it in real life but it's still a great option for an online site to have! I've had my glasses for over 3 months now and they still look as good as the day I got them! Like I said I really love ZenniOptical for getting cute affordable glasses! They can't be beat!

OVERALL: Very cute & durable glasses for such a affordable price = hallelujah.

Nyx HD Concealer in Lavender

Hey guys! Hope you're all having a nice day! Anyways today's post will be about this oddly colored miracle working concealer (woo talk about a mouthful!) When I first saw this I was wondering HOW could you put on a lilac colored concealer without it making your skin look like you're trying to be an alien/elf for the day. I mean unless your into that, no judgement's. But I looked up some videos and reviews on it, and realized it's just what I needed!






                                    





This is a miracle in a tube for highlighting and brightening up your under eyes area or anywhere you need it. Right out of the tube it's just straight up lavender, has a nice thin and blendable consistency, a doe foot applicator, and once you get to blending it out it just leaves a nice bright look. Not so much lavender but more white with a very light lavender tone. I find it's best to apply it under eyes in a triangular shape, blend, then apply your foundation over it topped with your favorite regular concealer. Another little tip I've learned with using this so much is that you can easily mix a little of this with another concealer if it's a little to dark and it will lighten it up enough to give you great coverage and a little added brightness! It's great for pale skin as I know it's so hard to find anything out there we can use to brighten our skin since everything is too dark/yellow toned. But this does the trick! Final verdict: I love this concealer, it's great at correcting darkness and adding life and brightness back to your skin. Very affordable and you great a good amount of product! No parabens or talc. And of course cruelty free yipee! Just try it out if you get the chance because I know you'll love it! (especially my fellow fair skin ladies!)

NYX Tame&Frame tinted brow pomade in Brunette! Swatch/Review below!

Hey there! Welcome to my blog! After using this product a few times I have to say, I am in love! The quality couldn't be any better for a drugstore product (because lets be honest when it comes to brows there isn't much of a good variety for us budget ballin gals') and the price is right on point for this product! Just $7 so it doesn't break the bank! I bought this in the shade brunette.You get a good amount of product (0.18 oz.) and I've used it a couple times and barely made a dent in it as you can see in the photo below.






Honestly this product gets a 10/10 from me, mostly because of the color match and the fact that it's waterproof so it's not going to budge once it's set. I know that's important for a lot of people, not just myself! Oh and on a side note when I went to wash my hands with dish soap the swatch I made was not coming off even with scrubbing! I had to literally SCRATCH it off..... so yeah there's that.







The product is easy enough to apply and you only need the smallest amount, so don't get to crazy with it ladies, trust me. You can go from fleek to "Oh F***" in the matter of a second if you don't gradually build it up instead of just going head on into it! Take my advice and have some patience when applying. OVERALL: The product is great and budget friendly, they have a nice shade range (with the exception of an auburn shade for our lovely red heads out there,) and it's extremely waterproof, so it's going to stay on all day while you go out and conquer the world with your sassy brows. Or you know just chill at home watching youtube vids/pinterest in your sweatpants like me. No shame at all.
